Weekend rides – 30th April to 2nd May 2016

Thanks to everybody who led rides this weekend and kudos to those who completed the Endurance ride yesterday – great stuff.

It’s a Bank Holiday so that means three days of riding – although it would be nice to do some riding in Spring conditions before we hit summer.

Please also remember that if there are rides without leaders on Thursday evening they will be removed from the calendar (See the forum thread here: http://goo.gl/7mg9fY for more details).

This weekend’s social group rides on Saturday are to Cotefield Nursery, Bodicote.

Sunday 1st May 2016

Sunday see the first of our ‘set piece’ rides of the year – Hard & Hilly for the A ride and ‘Soft & Silly’ for B & C groups. There will also be a shorter D ride to Stoke Bruerne.

We need leaders for the C group ‘Soft &’ Silly’ ride and also for the D ride this weekend. If you can lead please leave a comment below or email me at rides@bmcc2000.com.

Monday 2nd May 2016

Monday see the A ride visiting a new tea stop that Ken has identified – Bradmoor Farm Shop and Cafe near Haddenham. If the reception, service and (most importantly cake) is good then this is one that we’ll start adding more regularly to the calendar.

Other club activity this week

In addition to the social weekend rides there are junior and adult time trials on Tuesday evening at Weston-on-the-Green, junior coaching on Saturday at The Cooper School starting at 10am and the non-stop and training rides on Sunday.
