Confirmed club activities – 29th & 30th October 2016

Please see below confirmation of this weekend’s rides. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to lead this weekend. Assuming the weather is as forecast then we can ride without mudguards this weekend. It’s looking dry but cool.

There are no cancellations of social rides this weekend. I’ve left the non-stop/training rides in the calendar with leader TBC on the day.

Mudguards
We’re now at the time of year when the weather is starting to turn and roads become wet. As a reminder for existing members and info for all the new members we have gained this year through October mudguards are optional on club rides (but should be used if it has rained in the preceding 24 hours) and will be mandatory on all rides from 1st November until the end of February. If you don’t yet have mudguards fitted you can buy from local bike stores with whom we have discount arrangements (e.g. Broadribbs, Corleys) who will also be able to fit them for you. If you don’t have mudguards fitted you will be asked to stay at the back of the ride to save other riders being covered in spray.
