Confirmed club activities – 11th & 12th February 2017

Please see below confirmation of this weekend’s rides. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to lead this weekend.

There are two social ride cancellations this weekend as the rides have no confirmed leaders – Sunday C & D rides. I’ve left the Saturday non-stop/training ride in the calendar with leader TBC on the day – Tim Beaven will lead the Sunday non-stop. Please also remember that Aidan is leading the first of the Endurance rides this weekend – leaving the Leisure Centre at 8am on Sunday morning.

Please remember that rides will start from Bicester Leisure Centre (BLC). Feedback I heard was that it went well last week which is a positive start. I will wait at BNS until just before 9am and bring up stragglers (if there are any) to the Leisure Centre so rides will start at 9.05 to allow us to get to the leisure centre in time.

Please keep and eye on Facebook and email in the mornings this weekend. The weather forecasts are looking cold with snow potential so I’ll be keeping an ear to the ground for road reports and if I hear it is too dangerous and I will cancel the rides.

NOTE: Mudguards are mandatory on all club social rides (50/50 excluded obviously) until 1st March 2017. This is for the protection of other riders in the group. Please ensure that your mudguards are long enough (including mudguard flap) to prevent spray being thrown up behind you.
