Please find below details for all this week’s club activities. Saturday rides are to Hook Norton Brewery.
In addition to the normal weekend social rides there is the club night and 50/50 ride on Thursday evening, the non-stop/training rides on Saturday and Sunday and junior coaching on Saturday.
We currently need leaders for the all rides on Saturday and the C & D rides on Sunday so please leave a comment below, contact me via Facebook or email me at rides@bmcc2000.com if you can lead a ride.
Please also remember that if there are rides without leaders on Thursday evening they will be removed from the calendar (See the forum thread here: http://goo.gl/7mg9fY for more details).
NOTE: Mudguards are still advisory on all club social rides (50/50 excluded obviously). The decision as to whether mudguards are to be used will be made on Friday based on the weather forecast and will be published with the ride confirmation. The use of mudguards is for the protection of other riders in the group. Please ensure that your mudguards are long enough (including mudguard flap) to prevent spray being thrown up behind you.
Make sure you are covered
Participation in Bicester Millennium club rides and events is strictly at your own risk and liability. You are strongly advised to obtain 3rd Party Liability Insurance. You can do this easily by taking out membership of either British Cycling or CTC. Both of these provide the required Insurance AND they support cycling throughout Britain. Also please make yourself aware of the BMCC Club rides protocol. These can be found along with many other useful bits of information on the following link – https://www.bmcc2000.com/bmcc-all-rides/bmcc-club-ride-protocol/
