Route Description
Take A41 east from Bicester, then R to Ambrosden. R in Lo Arncott. Honeyburge, Oakley, Worminghall, R in Ickford towards Tiddington. R/L at A418. L on A40 to go R on A329 to Little Milton. L in village to B480 and then L on this road past Chalgrove to Watlington. Leave village via Hill Road (just E of centre, signed to car park) (climb – BYO food stop). At the top, go right/left to North End and, in 1 mile where road bends right, turn left (straight on) to descend and go through Turville. At Fingest, turn left and then left next to church in Fingest (climb) to go right/left across B4082. Go over M40 to (climb) go right on A40 and first left (signed Beacon’s Bottom). Go via The City and turn right (signed West Wycombe). Descend narrow steep lane and at T, go right and then first left in half a mile to go N (climb) towards Bledlow Ridge. Turn right in Bledlow Ridge and descend to turn left (after railway bridge) on to A4010. In half a mile take first right to (climb) Loosley Row, Lacey Green, straight on at The Whip pub, Great Hampden, L at X roads (towards Butlers Cross and Chequers). Then R opposite Gate House to (climb, climb) Dunsmore. After village, turn L to narrow lane where chevrons point right. Straight over at A413 rbt, R at rbt in Wendover and R again on B4009. R after Halton Camp (on road towards Cholesbury) and then right (climb) in half a mile on one way road to the Café in the Wood (food stop – 30 minutes stop maximum – 55 miles covered to here). Continue loop from the café on one way road back to the Cholesbury road, and go left back to B4009, to turn right and then left (down hill and through traffic lights at canal bridge) towards Aston Clinton. At T junction, go left and then right at rbt. Then go over A41 and first left to Puttenham, Long Marston, Nup End, Aston Abbotts, Whitchurch, Pitchcott, Quainton, Edgcott, Marsh Gibbon and Launton to Bicester
