B4030 Caulcott, Middle Barton, after village, R to Sandford St Martin, L towards Great Tew, 1st R to go beside edge of Gt Tew village, R at T B4022, L at T A361, 1st R to Swerford, Hook Norton, L at T, Half mile R (salt bins) past Brewery, thro Sibford Gower, L at T B4035, 1st R signed Epwell, (do not turn R to village), continue to Upper Tysoe, R at T (in village), 1st R (up hill), L at X Rds, R at T A422, 1ST L towards Edge Hill, past Castle Inn, R to B4086 signed Banbury, at T Rt and L into National Herb Centre (33.5 mls). Leave R via B4100 down dual carr on Warmington Hill. Right in 1 mile to Avon Dassett, Fenny Compton, Knightcote, Bishops Itchington (right on B4451), left at T on B4452 to Harbury. Cross A425 to Bascote, Long Itchington go rt and rt at Green and right onto A423 (towards Southam) and first left (Stockton Lane). Cross A426 to Stockton. Cross A425 into Napton on the Hill. At top of the hill, take first left towards Priors Marston. In Priors Marston village, turn left at War Memorial. In 1 mile, left at X roads towards Hellidon (pass on S side of village), Up Catesby, Staverton, right on A425 to rbt and 2nd exit to Newnham (after crossing A361).
